About me
Hello! Im Jett, I am Trans femme nonbinary performer. A mouthful I know basically just means I lean towards presenting feminine but still like They & Them pronouns. I was raised in the Bay Area in California, more specifically Oakland. I went to Bishop O' Dowd Highschool which is where I got my love of acting! I went to College at Molloy University CAP21 For my BFA.
I have an adorable cat named Smudge and currently live in NYC. I have been working as a professional actor since graduating from college. I love trying new foods and seeing new sights in the city. In my free time I also love to read and enjoy a good video game.
Performing
I think the root of all acting is empathy. No matter the character actors must have the empathy to look at another persons situation in life and say "how can I connect" I think right now that is what we all truly need. It is such a rare thing and its something I've carried into my adult life and it's something I hope I never lose. I work as a broadway bartender at the St.James and have had the pleasure of working on some amazing shows the highlight of which has been Sunset Boulevard.
I have had the opportunity to performer professionally frequently in new york cityI I have been to delve into the world of Shakespeare as a queer person which has been a dream. These kind of texts are some of my favorites to perform because the only limits are the directors imagination. I have had the chance to work on several new play and musicals, Light at the End by Carmi Burbridge and 8min20Sec by Eliana Rubin both trans writers performing trans stories. I've even had the opportunity to act on film as well in short films and a pilot sample. Im always ready for more.

I recently finished a run of a review of Sweet Charity with all trans women at AMT theatre for their Circle Theatre Festival! I also had a reading
of a play called the Pigeon a wonderful reimagining of Anton Checkov's The Seagull in November and a brand new original musical
entitled 8minutes20secounds in december!
